Here's another front door. This time in Farrow & Ball Charleston Gray (the walls are Elephants Breath). The amazing bronze dolphin Door knocker is an original antique found on eBay and the other fittings include a standard 12" letterplate, and a pair of large brass beehive door knobs along with the French house number plaque.
Bedroom Lights for Children
Absolutely love these wooden lights for children (although id have one in my own room too!). Need to choose one to trial in the shop but its proving very difficult. If you have an opinion let us know on our FB page here.
Charlie's Front Door
Our customer Charlie, down the road from our shop, has sent a picture of his smart new front door on a fabulous Georgian property near Falmouth harbour front. The door is painted in Farrow & Ball 'Hague Blue' and it features our large brass lion door knocker and traditional brass letterplate. Click here if you'd like to view lots more gorgeous front door fittings...
On another note, Charlie and his partner Georgia also run this wonderfully stylish vintage clothing shop - Wild Pony. Have a look at their FaceBook page here. You may recognise the shop front as it used to be our stationery shop!

A Mural...
Nick painted this gorgeous off-white free-hand tree (Farrow & Ball's Slipper Satin on Green Blue) before our daughter Amabella was born. I love it - and contemplate slicing it off, flake by flake if we ever move!
The bunny head is a new addition. Click here to view. To see Nick's other work click here.

Collectables
Here are a few of the small tins which I've recently acquired. I don't know alot about tins yet. Suffice to say they are very pretty, very small and have some nostalgic brands on them.
Clever Ideas...
The ladies at Willow & Stone made these wonderful card displays using old books and simply folding down two pages at a time. They have a multitude of uses - not just for retail but to hold recipes, reminders, display your collection of post cards etc etc. Make sure you choose a book with distinctive end papers. This old book was £2 from a second hand book store on our high street. Click here to view our paper goods and stationery.
Another display idea which seems to becoming more popular are these doll house style shelf units. This one has tiny shelves and a painted backing. We use it to display small cards, stickers and odd little products we've stumbled upon.

With Knobs On...
A few of shots of our beautiful cabinet knobs. In their variety of finishes they are more like jewels! You can get quite obsessed with such things...

Cupboard Love
Having coffee at my friend's house recently I couldn't resist taking a photo of her freshly painted alcove cupboard in farrow & ball French grey with an unfinished plaster wall inside. Beautiful. My cupboards are not this neat!
And she's not the only one with impressive cupboards. My teacher friend in Worcester (not that that is important!) also has decidedly well arranged crockery cupboards, this time in a more modern feel with plenty of recognisable china.
