New Websites for Restoration Enthusiasts...

We've come across some wonderful new websites recently.

The first, just launched is Trainspotters set up by former LASSCO colleague Jesse Carrington. The easy to use site displays plenty of 20th century salvage with an 'industrial' feel. The stock encompasses period lighting, antique objects and furniture, industrial salvage, domestic scale architectural elements as well as some grander features and more unusual one-off finds. The website is being added to by the day so keep an eye on it over the coming months.

Architrader is an 'easy to use online marketplace where you can buy and sell architectural salvage and surplus building materials. Buying is free of charge - simply start browsing the fully categorized, searchable database. You can source period architectural features such as doors, flooring, radiators, fireplaces, stonework, lighting, and gardenware, or you can track down unused surplus building materials.' A must for all reclaimation fans who want to start their search online! Click here to view the website.

London Mosaic is another must see site. At Willow & Stone we get endless inquires from customers searching for missing tiles or entire replacement tiled flooring for the Victorian entrance halls and front paths. Easy to use and beautifully laid out with inspirational 'before and after' photographs of finished projects you will find both antique and carefully reproduced authentic replica floor tiles and mosaics that make a striking feature in Victorian hallways and entranceways. Click here to visit the site.
